Ashcore is an idle burner. Every subject is built in layers, from a crusty shell down to a glowing heart, and your fire eats through them one at a time. Click or tap to light it up, upgrade your burner, and burn each subject all the way to its core.

• 12 subjects to burn: Cinder Ore, Basalt Egg, Pearl, Geode, Ammonite, Ingot, Amber, Cog, Meteor, Ice Comet, Brilliant and Star Shard. Each one is bigger and tougher than the last.

• Every layer burns its own way. Crusts smolder, metals glow and crystals crack under the heat.

• 12 upgrades to stoke the fire: Heat, Spark, Conduction, Ember, Updraft, Condenser, Assay, Crucible, Wildfire, Bellows, Afterglow and Flashpoint.

• Your fire changes color as it gets hotter, from orange to white-hot.

• Smoke rises into a cloud that rains mass on you, even while you're away.

• Rekindle to trade your progress for Ash and come back burning hotter.

• Effects settings from High down to Clear, so it runs smoothly on older laptops and phones.

HOW TO PLAY

Click or tap the rock to heat it. Spend mass on upgrades. Burn through every layer to finish a subject and unlock the next one. Hold an upgrade to see what it does.
